This spirited man has a compulsion to detail that he doesn't understand. Why do details matter to him? So should they matter? Is this compulsion to detail a result of trauma? Is it a control freak thing? Is it a form of paranoia? Why are details so important to him? He doesn't know this spirited man does not know why it's so important to him to replace this logo, but he's compelled to spend days making it. So how long is this one going to take? This is not to say that he cannot justify the pains he takes with each detail. Each detail serves a specific purpose, so he thinks 10 years of searching experimenting and testing to figure out that this was the correct pencil.

Why it's widely available the lead doesn't break easily comes in a good color, but got ta put a silicone grip on it because he grips it so tightly needs a better eraser than that. Of course, the number of mistakes this spirited man makes gon na need a mount for that eraser make it out of plumber's epoxy, took two years to figure that one out got ta sand it just right, so the eraser fits just so, oh god, i dated, of Course got ta put a date on. There can't have a pencil floating around without a date on it date. Everything actually put a date on it.

Why? For forensic biographical purposes, he was in new york on january 17, 2011. say: how fast does this heater burn up? A tank of propane, well, let's check and see, depends on the month. It seems the tank did not come with the logo hand painted on it by the way why the heater in the first place, because this particular spirited man needs his studio to be a furnace in the morning or else he can't write do lists on cardstock folded. In fours, four to five post-it notes per quadrant for maximum writing space.

Super sticky, post-it notes golden yellow, not canary, yellow adhesive at the top of the paper kind, not the accordion kind. This purchase was a mistake: mount the hook to a wooden flange before mounting it to the wall. To prevent pull out a knot makes too big a lump, so you got ta sew. The webbing loop takes about an hour got ta, have four spare keys too sure this 25 cotton pleating paper with red margins for lawyers or judges or for some kind of legal reason, sure this paper costs 10 times as much as regular copy paper.

But these margins are so handy, so beautiful, not just any manual typewriter got ta, be the 1936 corona standard, because it's one of only two models that fit perfectly in the military case and the olivetti latura 22 is garbage, never mind the military case details so two Days on this truck badge is now three days because ups was delayed, delivering the stainless steel three-quarter inch number four flat head sheet metal screws. Why? Why why why all of this? How can it possibly matter three days on this grill badge, a brand new one from the factory costs 159.84, but no, this one had to be handmade costing. God knows how much in spirited man labor sorry honey. I can't afford to pay the mortgage this month, but check out this cool bike seat.
I made only took me 10 hours. He wondered if his detailed fetish was harming others if he should try to be less detail oriented. So this spirited man sought counsel and reconciliation from a spirited woman from his domestic partner, baby mama main squeeze common-law wife, a spirited woman who's tasked with pulling the slack when he's succumbed to this detail or that these details matter to me to such an extent. He explained that i'm willing to endure any consequences as a result of having committed to these ridiculous details, and it feels like i can't help it and her reply.

Off-Handed and gentle and light and truthful ignited within this spirited man. An epiphany a moment of sudden revelation or insight, and what the spirited woman, this spirited man's domestic partner, baby mama main squeeze common-law wife said, was this. She said simply, i love that about you, in spite of it all, she loved his compulsion to detail and the spirited man finally understood why details were so important to him and now, after three days of work, the grills match on the toyota trucks, you.

Outstanding video and story! Just made two of the pencils today with all of the same components. I'll give them a good working over in my shop. I'm already a convert to 0.9mm lead after one day! Used 0.5mm for years, with lots of breaks, because I liked the thin lines. I already appreciate the heartiness and the better readability of the 0.9mm. You da (spirited) man Van!

Take a stick to the beach and pull it across the sand. Then, do the same but this time push across the sand. That's the difference between a right and left handed person using that pencil. An abomination for a lefty – I empathise with Van.

Man it’s like you’re in my head. I could not connect with this more, thank you for sharing and lending your perspective on how our special approach to life can affect others. I also have a common law wife lol who says “I love that about you” when I’m head down in the details of a project. Brilliant video!

This is brilliant. In 1999 when I bought my 1994 FJ80 Toyota Landcruiser it had the old Toyota badge. The 1995 Model has the "International Toyota Symbol". Back then it concerned me that the badge on my 1994 FJ80 Toyota Landcruiser would date the vehicle. 22 years later? I wouldn't have it any other way. Another great story Van, thank you.

Former 89 Hilux double cab owner here. It had the TOYOTA logo in front. And in back of course. It was my dad's first own vehicle, and it was mine too. Looked so handsome in factory metallic crimson with black wheels and tastefully oversized tyres. RIP old yota. You were the best. You always took care of us and you tried to kill the fucker who tried to steal ya. Never go down without a fight was the old thing's motto, apparently. It really was the best.

Maybe you can appreciate that I took the emblems off my wife’s brand new 2021 Tiguan 3 days into ownership, she didn’t. Blacked them out and reinstalled before breakfast all because it didn’t look right parked next to my Jetta. I can appreciate this video on a couple levels. She relented about a week later

Are you me? The more I watch the more parallels I see. I am happy to see you have a spirited woman by your side. Mine has been with me through it all, and I would probably have driven myself mad without her.
